Kim and Kanye announced the arrival of their new baby girl on Tuesday but have yet to let fans know the baby's name. In the meantime, Kim has been posting a lot about Louis Vuitton. Last week, Kim went on Snapchat to share an image of her trash cans decorated with LV logos. On Wednesday night, she posted another photo of the famous Louis monogram without a caption.
It’s not clear what Kim is trying to say here. The couple obviously loves the brand, Kanye especially, so much so that even their garbage is decorated with it. Because of all the mystery, out of speculation or desperation, fans decided this could be Kim’s way of hinting at a baby name.
It’s not totally ridiculous for people to suggest that the daughter of the “Louis Vuitton Don” could be named after the fashion house. One brilliant Twitter user pointed out that the name is fitting, given these lyrics from Ye’s song “Gold Digger.”
However, as People pointed out, this could just be Kim’s way of paying tribute to the brand’s artistic director of men’s wear Kim Jones, who is leaving Louis Vuitton. Jones’ last show with Louis Vuitton is Thursday, so perhaps Kim K is simply bidding him a farewell.
Still, Vuitton West would fit right in with Saint and North if you think about it. Kanye also thinks naming their daughter after his mother Donda would be "fire."
Either way, fans are desperate to know what they can call the newest member of the West family. Considering Kimye is turning down several million-dollar offers for photos and that it took a couple months for Kim to reveal Saint, we’ll probably be waiting a little while longer for any baby no. 3 updates.
