Despite the glitzy photos we may have seen on social media from the Kardashian-West (and Jenner) clan, it appears Kim and Kanye weren’t all smiles this past week. Kim posted an Instagram photo on Tuesday with her and son Saint West, revealing that the family spent the holiday tending to him as he battled what seems like a serious case of pneumonia.
Kim wrote, “My precious baby boy is so strong! After spending three nights in the hospital & seeing my baby get multiple IV’s and hooked up to oxygen machines, our end of year was challenging. Pneumonia is so scary. I just want to thanks every nurse & doctor out there who works so hard around the clock. We are so grateful for you all! He’s home and all better. He’s so resilient I’m sure he will still say the ambulance ride was cool! My strong Saint,” adding an angel emoji at the end of the caption.
As TMZ reports, Saint was admitted to the hospital on Thursday, where he remained until Saturday. At least the little guy got to spend New Year’s Eve with his family. Kim and Kanye remained by their son’s side, sharing overnight duties until Saint got better. Just a few days before the whole ordeal, Kim posted this super cute family photo to Instagram for Christmas.
Saint, 2, is Kim and Kanye’s second child. Their first, North, is 4, and the family is expecting a third child via a surrogate later this month.
