Paris Hilton, the 36-year-old hotel heiress and self-proclaimed inventor of the selfie, is finally tying the knot. She went to social media Tuesday to announce her boyfriend, actor Chris Zylka, popped the big question over the holiday weekend. “I said Yas!” she wrote in the caption.

“I am so excited to be engaged to the love of my life and my best friend,” she tweeted Tuesday. “I have never felt so happy, safe and loved. He is perfect for me in every way and showed me that fairytales really do exist!”

Zylka, the 32-year-old star of HBO’s The Leftovers, reportedly proposed to Hilton on top of a mountain in Aspen during their New Year's vacation. People magazine reports the two were introduced at an Oscars party about eight years ago, but didn’t see each other again until 2016. After weeks of speculation, Hilton confirmed last February that she and Zylka were dating. About five months later, the actor proved his love and commitment by getting Paris’ name tattooed on his forearm in Disney font.

“Paris is the most beautiful and incredible woman both inside and out,” Zylka told People. “I feel like the luckiest man in the world to be marrying my dream girl. I can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together.”

Hilton has reportedly been engaged at least two times before: She said “yes” to model Jason Shaw in 2002, as well as to Greek shipping heir Paris Latsis in 2005. Third time’s the charm, they say.
