Olivia Munn Wants You to STFU About Dramatic Tabloid Love Triangles

And no, she is not dating Anna Faris' ex, Chris Pratt.

Olivia Munn is not here for your trite celebrity gossip, especially when it panders to the tired social convention of pitting women against each other over men (of all things). Munn took to Instagram yesterday to shut down rumors that she’s dating Anna Faris’ soon to be ex-husband, Chris Pratt.

In a series of black and white posts, Munn wrote, “1. Not every woman is scorned and upset after a breakup. 2. Not every woman is ‘furious’ at another woman for dating her ex. 3. So even if I was dating @prattprattpratt, some tabloids got me and @annafaris all wrong. 4. Women respect and love each other a lot more than some people like to think. 5. Chris and I would have a horrible celebrity name: Crolivia, Prunn, Chrisivia, Olipratt.” Well that should tell the rumor mill to take several seats.

The actress then shared a screenshot of a message she sent Faris, saying, “Hey there! Sooo… I would never respond to random tabloid stories, but since we know each other I wanted to reach out to you personally to tell you the story about me and Chris dating has 0% truth. I’m sure you already know it’s not true, or maybe didn’t care either way, but I just wanted to reach out personally to tell you it’s not true. Anyway, I hope you had an amazing holiday and an even better 2018.”

Whether it be fact or fiction, we all know how much it sucks to find out your ex is dating someone else. It’s good to see women out there defending themselves and each other from any unnecessary heartbreak.
