During his Golden Globes speech in January 2017, Atlanta creator/star and Pop Culture everyman Donald Glover thanked his son and his girlfriend for "making me believe in people again and things being possible." That was the only reveal we got about Glover's child after word of his son's birth was released in October of 2016.
Today, just hours after FX announced that Atlanta Robbin' Season would premiere on March 1, word broke that Glover and his girlfriend, who Entertainment Tonight has identified as being named Michelle, have since welcomed another child into their lives.
"She's great," Glover is said to have said during FX's TCA's earlier today. "She's good. Baby's born, so she's happier now."
That's all the info we received. Either way, we're happy for him, Michelle, and the kids, and respect how well he keeps his private life private.
Glover did also speak to ET on his creative process, and his thoughts on the upcoming second season of the FX series Atlanta, saying, "I don't rush my work. I don't think we're the type of people to do that. I'd hate to be like, 'It was worth the wait.' You'll decide that. But it definitely won't be cheap because of that. It's a good season. I really like it."
For many fans out there, Atlanta Robbin' Season (and anything else Glover's working on) are without a doubt worth the wait. We just need to see it. ASAP if we could.
