Though we're yet to see a trailer for what would be the third Cloverfield movie (which is still known as God Particle, but could now be referred to as Cloverfield Station), a report has come out that states that not only has Cloverfield 4 been confirmed, but also that it has wrapped up filming. That movie is going with the working title Overlord (at least for now), and it will take place during World War II. While you could probably guess the general idea of a monster movie combined with Nazis (plus, feel free to infer something from that title), here's the synopsis:

On the eve of D-Day, American paratroopers are dropped behind enemy lines to carry out a mission crucial to the invasion’s success. But as they approach their target, they begin to realize there is more going on in this Nazi-occupied village than a simple military operation. They find themselves fighting against supernatural forces, part of a Nazi experiment.

According to Slash Film, the movie will be directed by Julius Avery (from Son of a Gun), and it will star Wyatt Russell (from 22 Jump Street and Cowboys and Aliens), as well as Jovan Adepo (from Fences and The Leftovers). As you may have guessed, both God Particle and Overlord are being produced by J.J. Abrams.

Recent rumors have suggested that God Particle will be available on Netflix, while Box Office Mojo currently has Overlord down for an Oct. 26, 2018 release. Damn. Well played everyone involved.
