During the finale for FX's The People v. O.J. Simpson in April of 2016, we got a tease for Donald Glover's excellent series Atlanta. It captured the brilliance of the series, while barely giving away what would soon fuck the entire world up about the show. With FX recently announcing that Atlanta would be returning for a second season (which is interestingly-titled Atlanta Robbin' Season) on Friday, it shouldn't be a surprise that they dropped a quick teaser during the tail-end of tonight's Golden Globes ceremony.

I'm not entirely sure of what was going on, so here's a brief description of it.

The clip was dark, and soundtracked by Sonder's "Too Fast." Very dark. Earn, Paper Boi, and Darius (among others) are in the shadows, with random beams of light rolling through. Apparently, there was an alligator in it? It felt like Hype Williams was paid a lot of money to make the darkest, quickest teaser for one of 2018's most anticipated returning series and churned out something that's fucked up my timeline and yours ever since. Like, what else even happened during the Globes?

With Atlanta Robbin' Season set to premiere on March 1, we don't have much time to waste.
