For Nas and Kelis, the musical couple who has been in-and-out of court since their divorce was finalized in 2010, an amicable relationship doesn't seem to be on the horizon.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Nas is challenging Kelis' decision to deny him more time with their 8-year-old son Knight. The 44-year-old rapper goes as far as to call his ex-wife "hostile" and has reportedly attempted to come to some sort of civil solution, to no avail. Apparently up until now, he has not been able to see his son regularly, with Kelis calling the shots in regards to when and for how long he's allowed to be with Knight. When the court papers were initially filed earlier this month, Nas reportedly said Kelis, "allows him to exercise his custody with their son when she deems it convenient for her."

The Life is Good rapper is asking for a more predictable custody schedule where he would have Knight on the first, third and when applicable the fifth weekends of the month.

Nas is currently dating Nicki Minaj, who he's been with several months now. The two have been public with their relationship; Nas even called Nicki "THE QUEEN OF NY" in an affectionate birthday post on the rapper's 35th year on Earth.

Nas and Kelis on the other hand have been tangled up in several legal battles since they ended their five-year marriage. Although they don't have highly publicized beef, and they've previously recognized each other's success, visitation rights have proven to be a major point of contention between the two.
