Tyrese Says The Rock Is to Blame for His Money and Family Issues

I liked the Candy Ass feud way more than the Crying Puppy feud.

Tragically, the business of sequels is one of diminishing returns. Following the critically acclaimed Candy Ass feud that helped liven up early Fate of the Furious promo last year, two stars of the tentatively titled Fate of the Furiouser have embarked on what shall henceforth be referred to as the Great Crying Puppy Feud of 2017.

Crying Puppy kicked off back in September when Tyrese publicly expressed his disapproval of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's then-rumored Fast and Furious spinoff. Shortly after Tyrese's verbose Instagram note, he hit fans with another Crying Puppy chapter with the quote heard 'round the world: "Congratulations . . . for making the [Fast and Furious] franchise about YOU." Days later, Johnson's spinoff was given an official release date.

At one point, former Candy Ass feud participator Vin Diesel weighed in on Tyrese's comments. Then, in an Instagram video from the gym, Johnson asserted that "big dogs eat," while "little crying puppies" just stay on the porch. Many fans took the "crying puppies" part of that statement as a subliminal response to Tyrese.

Wednesday, in another lengthy Instagram note addressed to "Father God," Tyrese revealed that Johnson still hasn’t returned his calls.  Tyrese also teased Voltron Studios, and seemingly tossed blame at Johnson’s spinoff deal for his difficultly paying legal fees amid an ongoing custody deal.

"[It] was 60 days before I seen my baby and all I asked you to do 'privately' was NOT accept a role that would deeply [affect] us all," Tyrese wrote. "You are simply NOT the people's champ. You are a selfish champ."

This is likely not the last we've heard from Tyrese on matters of fastness and furiousness.
