Bobby Cannavale's Irving clearly has more on his plate than just hawking used cars.

No offense to my personal bible Curb Your Enthusiasm, but Mr. Robot—USA Network's surprise hacktivist hit starring Rami Malek—is the show I've been most looking forward to returning this year. When we last saw Malek and company, a woman-groping, Nazi-sympathizing reality TV goon had not yet slithered its way into the White House. On the eve of the third season premiere, fans are still left wondering how Mr. Robot creator Sam Esmail—who has already confirmed the series will remain set in an alternate 2015—might address Trumpism.

USA decided to hit fans with the first seven minutes of the season 3 premiere Tuesday afternoon, offering an introductory look at Bobby Cannavale as Irving, a used car salesman. Judging by the premiere's opening moments, however, that's not all Irving does.

True to form, Mr. Robot will return without having given away very much in the teasers and trailers ahead of its premiere. All we know for certain is that Cannavale will be joined by show regulars Christian Slater, Carly Chaikin, Portia Doubleday, Martin Wallström, B.D. Wong, Stephanie Corneliussen, and (of course) Malek. We also know that the revolution kickstarted by fsociety is entering a new, arguably more dangerous phase.

Mr. Robot, which has already bagged a Peabody and a plethora of additional awards since its 2015 debut, drops its full season 3 premiere Oct. 11 on USA Network. Earlier this week, Esmail reminded Trump that the premiere was imminent. Esmail also reminded him of his objective shittiness.
