Chrissy Teigen is a true gem, and we love how open she is on social media. But last night, she might have been even more open than she’s comfortable with. The model and Lip Sync Battle cohost decided to show all of her Snapchat followers the process of getting a spray tan, which is a very on-brand thing for Chrissy: she’s always honest about what it takes to look as good as she does, she’s an avid oversharer on Snapchat, and she loves to crack a joke or two. But something unexpected happened during her Snaps: she accidentally shared a three-second video that showed her nipple just hanging out there for everyone to see.
Fans were quick to notice, and although no one seemed too hot and bothered over the whole thing, many were trying to call her attention to what was an honest social media mistake.

And although the situation wasn’t an ideal one, it’s in these kinds of moments that Chrissy really shines. Her response was refreshingly well-pitched, and began with an honest, simple tweet.

"I just want to apologize to everyone I know. I've let my friends down. I've let my family down. Um, I have nipples. It's not something I'm proud of," she said.
