While on set filming his new Netflix series Maniac, Jonah Hill was caught sporting a very… different look. With a Hawaiian shirt, long, thin braids, and a whole bunch of finger and neck tattoos, Jonah looked like he had undergone a major transformation, and people definitely noticed.

Jonah’s entire look is so different from his usual that it sparked a lot of attention online as soon as the photos leaked. Jonah also looks slimmer in these photos, which might contribute to the shock factor. In fact, a brand new meme was born.

What's good fellas? How was y'all's Summers? Litty? 🤙

Maniac is a new Cary Fukunaga series starring Jonah Hill, Emma Stone, and Justin Theroux, about a man whose entire life consists of imaginary fantasies while he is in a mental institution. Hill and Stone are set to play patients in the hospital. Theroux will play James Mantleray, a mysterious mad-scientist/alcoholic doctor character. It is based on a 2014 Norwegian comedy series of the same name.

A few weeks ago, Stone and Hill were pictured on set again, this time looking straight out of the '80s. This time, Hill's Post Malone alter-ego was nowhere to be found.
