A general view of atmosphere of the Emmy Award

It's that time again: the cream of the television crop will finally be decided, as the 69th Primetime Emmy Awards are underway. We've been waiting for this night since the nominees were announced back in July, and with shows like Westworld and Saturday Night Live living large with 22 nominations apiece, it should be an interesting night. Hosted by Stephen Colbert, this year's awards ceremony features a number of interesting storylines, and even if you're (foolishly) not watching a number of these shows, the results of tonight's ceremony could mean a lot to the next year (or two) of television properties.

For those of you who might be watching the late game, or just not able to catch the broadcast on CBS, we've got you covered. Not only will we be live-tweeting the show, we will also be updating this very post as the event goes on. You know we got you, fam. Now make sure you've got a bottle of your favorite champagne, just in case Donald Glover and Atlanta win big tonight. Fingers crossed!
