The Many Ways Asahd Khaled Has Put on for the Culture

Asahd Khaled is one of the more recent people to debut on planet earth, but that hasn't stopped him from leaving his mark on the world already. The son of Mr. Positivity himself a.k.a. DJ Khaled, it seems Asahd was literally born to be great. Khaled never misses an opportunity to symbolically raise his son to the heavens like Simba and tell him he's worth more than the moon and stars. Tbh, it's #goals not just for future kids, but for those of us in the present who need a clue or two about how to treat our damn selves a little better.

But enough about us. This is about Asahd. At a fresh 11 months old, the infant has graced the music industry and beyond with his presence and influence. He's almost like a real-life, fun-sized Barbie—hear me out. One of Barbie's least realistic, but most motivational qualities was her ability to finesse just about any hobby she had and flip it into a career. I'm talking veterinarian, nurse, rock star, aerobics instructor: whatever she aspired to do, she did the damn thing.

In similar fashion, Asahd has proven time and again that his blossoming talents can't be contained, nor can he be tied down to just one job. Here are some of the roles Asahd has taken on to help the world, which is better off now that he's arrived and settled in.

Disaster relief fundraiser

As you can see in the photo above, Asahd made an appearance at Tuesday night's Hand in Hand: A Benefit for Hurricane Relief telethon. While DJ Khaled was busy working the phones to help raise money for the victims of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, Asahd provided his father with sage advice on how best to talk to citizens looking to do their part in the relief effort. There's no doubt in my mind that Asahd stepped up and cooed into the phone when conversations got a little too—ahem—complex for Khaled. Executive producer

DJ Khaled made it clear almost immediately after Asahd was born that his son being would be a music mogul in the making, but nobody knew just how soon Asahd would start working toward that goal. Turns out, hella soon. This summer, DJ Khaled released Grateful, a follow-up to last year's Major Key. During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Khaled revealed that Asahd, in all of his drooly, speechless glory, would be executive producing the album. "[Asahd] is credited as executive producer, and his attorney has his points or royalties, everything," Khaled told Kimmel. "He's in the studio listening to songs with me, going over the business part of it, [seeing if] the vocals are right, if the beats are right, if the energy's right. Everything, he’s a part of."

Because he's a smart boy, Asahd has also tossed around the idea of executive producing Justin Bieber's next record. Still no word on if he'll get his wish, but the two have at least discussed it.

Stress reliever

Aside from being adorable, Asahd also has the incredible power of being a stress reliever to the stars. Just look at how calm and/or happy these artists look once they're allowed to experience his aura:

Phobia counselor

Earlier this year, DJ Khaled divulged a personal secret: he has a huge fear of flying. During a Snapchat story broadcast in August, Khaled told followers about his phobia. "I haven't flown in 10 years," Khaled said. "It's the only fear I ever had in my life, flying on airplanes. They don't want me to fly airplanes, so I went and got a private jet, a Global 5000. I'm fearless now. Tell they I said hi."

In a video posted to Instagram shortly after, Khaled revealed the source of his new strength. "Asahd made me overcome my fear of flying," the producer said.

Thus allowing him to traverse the world in greater distances, and collaborate with far more artists than he's ever dreamed of.

It's simple, and maybe a bit obvious, but the greatest product Asahd has provided the culture is his relationship with his father. DJ Khaled is obsessed with making sure his son is prolific from an early age, even if Asahd is an actual factual baby. Nevertheless, his dad has high hopes, which have inspired countless fans on social media to imagine what a day in the Khaled household might be like:

Future world leader

Asahd Khaled will be eligible to run for president in 2052. Given our current state of affairs, we should start preparing for his campaign sooner than later. I personally volunteer to be Asahd's chief of staff, but there are plenty of other roles that need filling. Start getting those résumés ready, people. We have a world to save.
