'Game of Thrones' Fans Completely Lost It During Jon and Daenerys' Sex Scene

Jon Snow and Daenerys finally got together on 'Game of Thrones,' and it was just as awkward as you imagined.

No romance has been pined for in Game of Thrones like the one between Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen. Long before we ever knew about their blood ties, the connection was still an easy one to make: they're two of the best and most attractive characters on the show. What, you were expecting a reason other than that?

(Warning: Game of Thrones spoilers will follow.)

After a lot of teasing and some hot-and-cold moments between the two—Daenerys called Jon Snow too little for her last week, for God's sake—they finally took the step of hooking up in the Season 7 finale, "The Dragon and the Wolf." Maybe that sex scene is what the title was referring to in the first place (narrator: It was much more than that), but in the end all that really matters is that it happened.

The reaction to a bit of Thrones wish fulfillment was extraordinarily mixed on social media. It presented a bit of a conundrum for people with strong moral values: can you still cheer on a relationship and sex when you know it's incest, even when it's fake, television-based incest? This was apparently a difficult question for fans to grapple with, and some (including your boy) are out on the concept altogether.

So Jon's relationship with Dany will be pretty awkward when he finds out she should have been buying him Christmas presents for 25 years.

Others were more conflicted about the duo finally bumping uglies, acknowledging the grossness of the situation while still rooting for the relationship to progress.

And in case you didn't think there were too many depraved Thrones fans out there, some of your peers are beyond cool with the incest, and you might want to study your friend group and weed these people out as quickly as possible. To paraphrase Bad Boys 2, you motherfuckers need Jesus.

Yes I know that Jon is Dany's nephew. Yes I'm still down for them doing their thang. 🤷🏻‍♀️ #GameOfThrones

Season 1: EWWWWWW INCEST
Season 7: YEAYYYYYYYY INCEST#GameofThrones

Will Jon puke when he finds out he boned his aunt, or are they too far gone to care at this point? We'll have to wait for Season 8 to find out the answer to that question, but please, for the love of all things sacred, do not use this relationship as inspiration for your own personal life. Game of Thrones has inspired people to make certain pet choices, so don't let it inform how you look at your relatives too, por favor.
