On March 2, Nick Cannon Presents: Wild ‘N Out is back on MTV for its eighth season. And after three years of filming in NYC—and breaking MTV2 ratings records in the process—the show is coming back home to Los Angeles and to the MTV network.
Over the course of its seven seasons, Wild ‘N Out has been like a farm system for some of the most talented comedians out there, as the likes of Mike Epps, Kevin Hart, Kat Williams, DeRay Davis have all spent time as cast members on the show. For season eight, current Wild N Out stars like DC Young Fly, Tim DeLaGhetto, Emmanuel Hudson, and Chico Bean will all be coming back for more.
Every Wild N Out episode features two teams battling against each other by partaking in some of the funniest—and downright ridiculous—competitions you’ll ever see on TV. Nick Cannon heads up one team, which squares off against a crew made up of A-list celebrity talent. The two squads attempt to defeat each other in an escalating series of comic throw downs that all build up to the main event “Wildstyle battle” at the climax of the show, which decides who will take home that coveted WNO battle belt. Once a winner is crowned, both teams come together to close out the show with a performance from a featured musical act. Artists on tap to perform in season 8 include Migos, 2Chainz, Trina, and even Chris Paul and Antonio Cromartie.
