He may have started from the bottom, but the photo of Drake's half-finished Bridle Path mansion definitely prove he's made it to the top.

Drake is Sparing No Expense for His Toronto Mansion

It’s no secret that Drake loves Toronto. There are countless references to the GTA in his music, he’s practically the Toronto Raptors’ second mascot, he owns a restaurant on King West, and he founded his very own Toronto-based music festival—OVO Fest.

So it comes as no surprise that he’s building his very own dream mansion on Park Lane Circle in the very exclusive Bridle Path neighbourhood. He’s not exactly known for his humble, minimalist lifestyle either, so of course, he had to show off the construction progress on his house via Instagram.

The photo is captioned “manifested this one from time” and includes a shout out to architect Ferris Rafauli, who is also the man behind Drake’s members-only Sher Club at the ACC.

The bird’s eye view shot shows just how gigantic his Toronto digs is going to be. And it’s no wonder considering it has to fit a full-sized basketball court, a jersey museum, a pool, a bar, a spa, a security suite, an awards room, a snack lounge (what this is exactly remains unclear) and a piano room. Not to mention a garage big enough to house his fleet of luxury vehicles and enough bedrooms and bathrooms to make sure his entourage is comfortable—and Rihanna is impressed, in case she happens to visit.

Some of the Toronto elite Drake will soon be calling neighbours include Conrad Black, Gordon Lightfoot and Robert Herjavec.
