Did 'The Walking Dead' sneak in a zombie Donald Trump?

When you were carrying out your Sunday self-torture ritual of peeping The Walking Dead, did you notice anything peculiar? A bloated, orange walker perhaps? Eagle-eyed Walking Dead fans swear they spotted a Trump walker on the most recent episode, which would certainly make for a bold political statement from the AMC gods.

This Trump-esque walker does share plenty of physical similarities with the GOP nominee, but AMC would like you to know that this Reddit-debated theory is simply another victim of coincidence. According to a statement the network gave to Comic Book, this dude is "just another walker."

As Uproxx and others have noted in light of this Trump walker theory, this wouldn't mark the first time that a mere coincidence resulted in an unintentional cameo from a political figure on a wildly violent TV series. A severed head which strongly resembled that of former president George W. Bush popped in on an episode of Game of Thrones during the HBO series' 2011 debut season. Some minor controversy promptly ensued, resulting in a full-on apology from the network.

"What happened was this: we use a lot of prosthetic body parts on the show: heads, arms, etc," Thrones producers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss later said in a joint statement to Gizmodo. "We can't afford to have these all made from scratch, especially in scenes where we need a lot of them, so we rent them in bulk. After the scene was already shot, someone pointed out that one of the heads looked like George W. Bush."
