Paris Police Reportedly Searching for 'Mysterious Limo' Spotted Near Kim Kardashian Robbery

Newly obtained security footage reportedly shows a blacked-out limo circling Kim Kardashian's apartment at the time of the robbery.

Paris police are now searching for traces of a "mysterious limo" after recovered security footage showed it circling the area near Kim Kardashian's apartment, where she was robbed at gunpoint early Monday morning. Officials are considering this the "first break in the case" and believe it may offer some insight on how the armed men were able to flee the scene, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The footage was obtained from a shoe store near the private building where Kardashian was staying, popularly known as the No Address Hotel. A "mysterious black car with blacked-out windows" is reportedly seen circling the building three times between 2:34 a.m. and 2:54 a.m in the recovered video. Kardashian contacted her bodyguard to alert him of the robbery, during which she was bound and gagged, at approximately 2:56 a.m.

Reports of additional security footage surfaced Wednesday, with TMZ and others claiming that police had seized footage from a nearby shop that showed a "reflection" of the attackers in a mirror. TMZadded that limited physical evidence had also been discovered, including cigarette butts that may have belonged to one of the armed assailants.

The Kardashian family has remained mostly silent regarding the case. Caitlyn Jenner, however, sent a brief message of support to Kim Kardashian on Instagram earlier this week. "It's a reminder for us all to be careful in the uncertainty of this world," Jenner said:

In light of the attack, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are said to be beefing up their security strategy. Kardashian is also reportedly reconsidering her social media presence and public appearance obligations. "They're not taking chances," a source toldPeople Tuesday. "It was a really scary situation for the entire family and it's just not worth it to put themselves out there unnecessarily right now."
