‘Gilmore Girls’ Luke’s Diner Pop Ups Coming To Canada

On Wednesday, October 5th, fans of the hit series Gilmore Girls will finally have the chance to grab a cup of coffee from Luke’s Diner.

To commemorate the 16th anniversary of the series premiere — Gilmore Girls first premiered on October 5, 2000 — Netflix is transforming more than 200 coffee shops across North America into reproductions of the iconic restaurant and five of those locations are hitting Canada. Beginning at 7:00am, fans can grab a cup of coffee and pick up official Gilmore Girls merchandise including t-shirts and branded aprons.

Customers should be on the lookout for a “fun surprise under their custom Gilmore Girls coffee sleeve,” notes Netflix in its announcement.

In Toronto, Luke’s Diner pop-ups will be set up at: The Rolling Pin (3429 Yonge Street), Infuse Cafe (354 Yonge Street), Infuse Cafe (Gerrard Square Mall, 1000 Gerrard St East) and Milano Espresso Bar (266 Adelaide Street West, Unit 2). Meanwhile, Vancouver fans can head to Trafiq Cafe & Bakery (4216 Main Street). A full list of participating locations across North America can be found here.

The upcoming reboot Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life hits Netflix on Friday, November 25, with four 90-minute episodes.
