On Halloween, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson dressed up as Pokémon’s Pikachu for his best role to date: dad. The Rock posted a video on Instagram of himself dancing to “Juju On That Beat” for his adorable daughter Jasmine, who in the past has notably been documented having philosophical conversations with her father.
Setting out to be the very best (dad) that no one ever was, The Rock is seen donning—and later sweating in—his full body Pikachu costume. The Rock told his almost 70 million Instagram followers that Pikachu is his soon-to-be one-year-old daughter’s favorite character. Baby Jasmine is seen watching the towering Pikachu attentively when she’s not laughing and smiling along as The Rock indeed jujus on that beat.
Pikachu is baby Jasmine's FAVORITE character. So, for Halloween me and @laurenhashianofficial decided the real life Pikachu was gonna come to the house for a visit. What Pikachu didn't know was that Jazzy would start crying when he stopped dancing and demanded he continue to shake his tail with a loud "EH!". So, Pikachu danced over.. and over.. and over.. and over... and over.. again. By the time I dropped my 197th JuJu, the heat of this costume was kickin' my ass.😂 But, hey.. that's what daddy's do. #HappyHalloween #DaddyBlessedWithKnuckAndBuckStamina #NoLimitsWhenItComesToMakinEmHappy

“By the time I dropped my 197th JuJu, the heat of this costume was kickin' my ass. But, hey.. that's what daddy's do,” The Rock wrote. Towards the end of the video, The Rock removes his Pikachu head to reveal his sweating face, only to have baby Jasmine cry and call him back to action.
When not appearing in Instagram videos living the dad life, The Rock is busy working on projects like Disney’s Moana and the new Jumanji movie with Kevin Hart and Jack Black, all the while protecting his title as highest paid actor.
