Rob Kardashian is looking forward to providing his own child with the same connection he had with his father, the late Robert Kardashian. In a touching tribute posted to Instagram on Friday, Rob said he "can't wait" to be a dad. "Miss you pops," Rob captioned the photo:
In a cover story for People released this week, Rob opened up about the importance of emulating that bond with his forthcoming child with Blac Chyna. "I had a really close bond with my dad," Rob said, revealing he felt that his father was "looking down" on him from above. "I was only with him for 15 years. That's why I'm looking forward to having that long-term bond with my child and being funny and goofy like my dad was."
Chyna also opened up about the relationship, tellingElle earlier this week that she valued Rob for always letting her simply be herself. "Around Rob, I'm always able to speak my mind and speak freely and not care," Chyna said. "I can do the craziest stuff or say the craziest stuff, and he doesn't judge me."
The journey to fatherhood will be chronicled in the fresh E! docuseries Rob & Chyna, set to premiere this month. The first pair of trailers for the heavily hyped TV event have already given us an instant meme tweeted 'round the world, a highly GIF-able pool scene, and plenty of (eventually squashed) family drama.
