Ahh the 90’s what a time to have been growing up in. Hip-Hop was going through its so-called 'golden age', you were either Team Mario or Team Sonic and the England football team weren't as bad as they are now. Nothing embodied British 90's culture better than Brit-pop/indie band Oasis and their upcoming documentary, Supersonic, will surely spark teary-eyed memories of a much simpler time.

From the same production company who delivered the brilliant and heart-wrenching Amy, this documentary focuses on the band's beginnings and primarily (and to the surprise of no one) Manchester’s two favourite sons, Noel and Liam Gallagher.

Directed by Matt Whitecross (Spike Island) this all-access documentary explores the topsy-turvy relationship between the two brothers as well as a look into the band’s legendary two-date gig at Knebworth in 1995.

Famous for their brash, 'IDGAF' attitude to life, as well as their music, Noel and Liam are currently on bad terms (again to the surprise of absolutely no one). Both have not only ruled out a long desired reunion from the fans but they've also used some very colourful language to describe their disdain for one another in countless interviews since the break up. However Whitecross believes a reunion is inevitable and speaking at a special screening at Festival No. 6 he claims that:

"Neither of them have discounted the idea of getting back together. It will happen, I'm sure. The idea of never seeing them again for me is impossible."

However Liam has rebuffed his reluctance on a potential reunion recently—of course giving the most 'Liam' response you’d expect— because, as he puts it, he’s "not a c***".

Supersonic will released out ion cinema’s October 2.
