Labor Day. What the hell is that all about anyway? John Oliver isn't really feeling it. He even went as far as offering America an updated list of all the annoying holiday-related nonsense we should ban after Labor Day. Commendable. But Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is taking a look on the brighter side of arbitrary holidays, hitting Instagram with some words of encouragement and a hella adorable family photo.

"[Labor Day is] one of my favorite holidays as we celebrate the blue collar American worker and their contributions to our country thru [sic] labor and sweat," Johnson wrote Monday. The star of the forthcoming Jumanji sequel then detailed an "amazing philosophical conversation" he had with his baby girl about how important hard work really is and how the path to respect is paved with, you know, actually earning that respect.

Hilarious comments from fans complaining about having to endure labor on a day meant to be entirely labor-free aside, Johnson definitely knows a thing or two about working really hard and garnering respect. This year alone, the highest-paid actor on the planet has announced an R-rated Baywatch movie, a San Andreas sequel, that aforementioned Jumanji sequel, and conceived what is arguably the greatest "candy ass" feud of all time.

Speaking of Jumanji and things that are cool, Johnson was recently kind enough to offer fans an early peek at his Indiana Jones-esque character Dr. Bravestone:

On a related note, maybe we should start brewing an Indiana Jones franchise reboot starring none other than Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson? Somebody get Spielberg on the phone.
