AMC has been very careful about leaks when it comes to revealing who Negan did or didn't kill with his bat in that terrible, epically F-bomb-filled, Season 6 finale—even going as far as filming Jeffery Dean Morgan killing every character with it. They've even tried to hint that he murdered everyone's favorite character in a recent teaser.
A better way of figuring it out, though, might be identifying who Negan didn't kill, and some new set photos taken by the paparazzi are offering a hint at who that could be. Spoilers ahead, obviously.
The photos show Andrew Lincoln, Danai Gurira, and Ross Marquand on the set filming the upcoming season, which means that Rick, Michonne ,and Aaron probably weren't bashed to death. Of course, trust nothing until you actually see it on AMC, because as ComicBook.com points out, it could be another case of the show trying to confuse us by filming out of order or shooting a flashback scene.

The first legit trailer for the upcoming season premiered last month during San Diego Comic Con. It revealed the addition of yet another new character from the comic books, King Ezekiel, played by Khary Payton.
The Walking Dead is currently filming Season 7 ahead of the show's Oct. 23 return on AMC.
