Since winning the UFC Middleweight Championship last June Michael Bisping’s stock has been steadily on the rise and now the English MMA fighter is set to make his first film appearance in My Name is Lenny.
The film will also star Legendary actor Sir Michael Gambon—better known as Professor Dumbledore from the Harry Potter movies—and Josh Helman (X-Men: Apocalypse;Mad Max: Fury Road) who will be playing the lead role as Britain’s toughest man Lenny McLean. The Biopic charts the life of a young Mclean as a street fighter in 1970’s East London to attain the title of 'The Guv’nor'. Bisping will be playing the role of his arch-rival Roy'‘Pretty Boy' Shaw, the Middlewieght Champ is also set to make his big screen debut in xXx: The Return of Xander Cage.
If you happen to be a film buff the name Lenny McLean maybe familiar to you, he played the iconic role of Barry ‘The Baptist’ in Guy Ritchie’s Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.
