Critics haven't exactly loved the new Suicide Squad movie, but fans are finding ways to see the good in the film, starting with an Easter egg that could reveal who really killed Robin. According to Screen Crush, a brief flash of information appears about Robin toward the start of the film's (impossibly long) introduction that reveals Robin's killer may not be who we've all been lead to believe it was. (Spoilers ahead!)

The prevailing theory about Robin's killer has of course been the Joker, following a message shown written on Robin's suit in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. The message on the suit read, "Hahah joke's on you, Batman," of course giving fans good reason to believe that it was the Joker who murdered Batman's sidekick and best bud.

But not so fast with finger-pointing at the Joker, as obvious as blaming him seems to be. At the start of Suicide Squad when each of the characters has their own back-story presented, including their rap sheet and skills, a flash of text appears during Harley Quinn's sequence where she lays claim to Robin's murder.

Without further plot information and back-story, it's impossible to know for sure if Harley was the one who did the deed, was possibly involved, or if the Easter egg is just there to mess with everyone's minds (which does sound a lot like the Joker...), but it's certainly a twist in what felt like a certain theory about Robin's fate.
