If you’ve found yourself wearing a tinfoil hat within the last few months, and currently spend the majority of your time bracing for a zombie apocalypse, then boy do we have some good news for you!

A home in Aurora, Ontario is up for sale this week, and it could be all yours for a cool 1.6 million dollars. What’s so special about this house, and how will it protect you from a hoard of wastelanders and super mutants? Well, you see, the house itself is outfitted with a Cold War-era bomb shelter.

In an interview with the Toronto Star, home owners Werner and Orianna Broadbeck, explain that the structure was built to house high-profile Canadian politicians. In the event that Cuba ended up deploying missiles, and if their target was anywhere near the Canadian border, bureaucrats would be shuffled into the confines of 220 Yonge St. Unfortunately for the proposed inhabitants, the bunker could not then, and cannot still, withstand a direct hit.

The confines of the bunker itself, are outfitted with maps and charts of the Toronto area, and also include a template to chart the number of casualties and irradiated citizens in the surrounding area. *shutters infinitely* On the less morbid end of the building, are emergency water tanks. Because people are definitely going to be thirsty during the nuclear apocalypse.

Oh and aside from the absolutely insane history, the rest of the place is nice as well. The unassuming fortress is still taking offers. If you're thinking of spending the cashola, be sure to include us on the list of allowed entries, when the inevitable alien invasion occurs sometime soon.

You can take a virtual tour of the property here.
