What can really be said about Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice that hasn't already been said? The discourse surrounding Snyder's film is so unavoidable, we even have fellow fictional comic book characters joining the diss party. But one thing we haven't really talked about is all those people Batman knocked off during the film's undeniably hefty running time.
Mr Sunday Movies, the same mind behind all those handy Easter egg explainers, has answered that inquiry by compiling an equally handy supercut packed with all of Batman's ruthless killings from Batman v Superman. The clip follows a few guidelines to ensure each kill is accurately represented, including the fact that anytime the Batmobile slams into your personal vehicle, you're most likely dead.
This deadly behavior is mirrored in previous incarnations of the character helmed by Tim Burton and Joel Schumacher, as explored in a previous Mr Sunday Movies supercut:
We can likely expect a similar supercut following the release of Ben Affleck's forthcoming standalone Batman film, which will hopefully land on a title very similar to Batman: He's Just Not That Into You. Better yet, maybe it'll just be this for
two three hours:
"I have a script, we're still working on it, and I'm not happy enough with it yet to actually go out there and make a Batman movie, for which I have the highest of standards, I would say," Affleck told Collider in June while talking about the movie's progress. "That's something that would have to pass a very high bar for me. It's not just like, 'Yeah, that might be fun, let's go try this out.'" But it will be fun, right?
