It’s a pretty common occurrence to see some story online about an artist drawing some pop culture figures in the style of The Simpsons, or Rugrats or some other cartoon. And it’s kind of fun. But recently, artists on Instagram have been flipping that on it’s head. Using the hashtag #StyleChallenge, they’ve been drawing themselves in various art styles different shows. It’s pretty great, showing off not only the great design work of your favourite cartoons, but also considerable talent from the artists themselves. It's also featured a lot of contributions from people of colour, which means there's also some additional diveresity that some of the original properties lacked.
