Images of the Xbox One Slim Have Leaked, and Here's What It Looks Like

Update: The UK launch date for the 2TB model has been confirmed for August 2, and will cost £349. A 1TB and a 500GB will both follow at a later date, costing £299 and £249 respectively. 

There’s still 7 hours (and counting) till Microsoft’s E3 press conference, with games such as Gears of War 4 and ReCore set to be main draw. Another huge announcement expected to set the gaming world alight is the reveal of the Xbox One Slim aka Xbox One S.

However thanks to some leaked images you can get an early glimpse of what it will look like before the official reveal. Notably the new model is much slimmer than the current console in fact it’s said to 40% smaller. The console is delivered in white finish with a matching control pad.

Furthermore the console’s specs were released, it looks as if the Xbox One Slim will be fitted with a 2TB hard rive, support for 4K video playback and High Dynamic Range (HDR).

Regarding the leak images, a spokesperson for Microsoft could only offer up this explanation:

"¯\_(ツ)_/¯ www.xbox.com/e3."
