Microsoft (Accidentally) Makes Fallout 4 Free on Xbox Store

Sorry guys, it's already been fixed.

None

Fallout 4 only came out in November and considering the size of the game, there’s a good chance you’re still playing it, and it’s still one of the premiere titles on the Xbox One. So it’s  bit random that yesterday Microsoft started giving it away for free.

Eagle-eyed Xbox gamers noticed that the game, along with its season pass and DLC, was listed for the very agreeable sum of $0.00. People were quick to snap it up, though sadly before you start to boot up your Xbox, we have to let you know that it’s gone back to its regular price.

Some people though it might have been some sort of hype for E3, but Bethesda marketing VP was asked about it on Twitter, and he had no clue:

no idea. Not my platform. Bug/hiccup. They'll undo it
