The British Urban Film Festival has announced its second annual awards ceremony, and they’ve got some pretty cool hosts — Kidulthood and Adulthood stars Adam Deacon and Femi Oyeniran will be presenting, alongside singer Heather Smalls.

This is the second year that BUFF have hosted an awards ceremony. The festival has been  showcasing urban independent cinema for over ten years, and last year decided it was time to have an awards show as well. The event takes place on September 18 at Hilton Hotel Tower Bridge, and will be broadcast on Sky Showcase. It’s also been announced that veteran actor Wil Johnson will be receiving the honorary award for outstanding contribution to film and television.

Adam Deacon said of the awards:

I’m looking forward to being part of this year’s BUFF Awards. It’s important to support the up and coming urban British talent as they don’t always get the support that’s needed from the mainstream.
