Though Tom Hiddleston is currently pretty busy promoting the Hank WilliamsbiopicI Saw the Light, he's still making time for some Loki action. The Marvel Cinematic Universe frequenter crashed a Fox 32weather report this week, showing off his grasp of meteorology by astutely blaming the bulk of unsavory weather on Chris Hemsworth's Thor hammer.

"My brother from another mother's been misbehaving," Hiddleston explained to concerned viewers. "There's this huge storm front coming in and all that means is Chris Hemsworth is taking his hammer and he's smashing it into the surface of the sky." By Hiddleston's Loki's best estimates, there's not much that common citizens can do to avoid the ensuing downpour: "Good luck with that."

Hiddleston recently kicked off production on Thor: Ragnarok, set for release next year. "Thor 3 will be cool because I’ve not done it for four years," Hiddleston told the Daily Beastearlier this week. "I love working with Chris [Hemsworth]. This will be my last time out of the gate." Though the phrase "last time" sounds pretty definitive, Hiddleston cautions against getting bummed just yet: "They haven't got their ducks in a row yet. They make it up as they go along."

Given the usually tepid nature of actors' publicity requirements surrounding the release of a major film, perhaps the world can learn a lesson from the obvious fun of Hiddleston's quick stunt. Maybe we should abandon the traditional promo model in favor of a never-ending marathon of crashed weather reports?
