Netflix, clearly in the business of delivering great show after great show, has given a firm yes to a Wet Hot American Summer sequel series. The eight-episode followup to last year's prequelWet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp is currently slated for a 2017 premiere, according toDeadline. The series, which was practically promised by Bradley Cooper's character Ben in the 2001 original film, will fittingly be titled Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later.

Though the cast for Ten Years Later currently remains a mystery, creators David Wain and Michael Showalter's ability to pull the original team back together for First Day of Camp should quell any fears of unfortunate absences. Wain and Showalter, thankfully, will be returning to their writing duties for the sequel series. Wain, who directed both the original film and First Day of Camp, will once again helm the satirical mayhem.

Will we see First Day of Camp newbies like Jon Hamm and Kristen Wiig again? No one has any answers whatsoever. The original Wet Hot American Summer, however, may have some hints tucked neatly in its post-credits reunion action:

A specific release date for Ten Years Later remains just as mysterious as the cast, though we can assume it will likely be sometime during the summer of 2017. Rejoice accordingly.
