Siblings fight all the time but that doesn't necessarily mean they hate each other's guts. The problem is that when you're in the public eye like the Kardashian-Jenners every little fight gets blown up. That has given way to the rumored rivalry (over who's more popular) between Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner, whose recent face swap on Snapchat made people double take. Always one to squash rumored beef (See: gathering with Amber Rose), Kim set the record straight on the rivalry once and for all on her website and app.
Peoplereports Kim writing, "Kylie and I laugh so hard at this all the time, because people always want to pit us against each other, thinking we have similar careers."
Both Kim and Kylie have clothing lines, beauty products, and a mobile video game. And that's just scratching the surface when it comes to the laundry list of business endeavors that have helped forge the Kardashian empire. Although the two sisters may share similar businesses their careers have been different.
"I think it's amazing—there's no one else I would want to be in the same business with than my sister," wrote Kim. "She teaches me so much, and I teach her so much, and we're both so close that it's just funny."
Peoplenotes Jenner has addressed the alleged rivalry before with a video on her website and app called "Sister Love." In it Jenner calls Kim a huge inspiration and says: "People always put me and Kim in a competition, or [they say] I'm trying to be Kim, or I'm trying to steal Kim's throne. I think people forget that me and Kim are sisters. We're not in a competition. We're completely different people."
Big sis Kim told Kylie she was handing her the baton last year saying, "You've got to put in a few more years before you actually dethrone me, but I give my baton to you. If I would want anyone to follow in my footsteps, anyone to borrow my clothes, anyone to like share my glam team it is Kylie...King Kylie."
