Remember that time Screech from Saved by the Bell stabbed a guy in a bar on Christmas? Sure you do. The bizarre 2014 incident ultimately landed the guy in jail back in January. However, thanks to Dustin "Screech" Diamond's apparently masterful cleaning skills, the 39-year-old actor is once again a free man. Diamond was released one month early after really flexing his ability to scrub floors and do laundry, Ozaukee County Jail officials tellTMZ.

Diamond, who officially walked back into a life of freedom on Monday, had been convicted of disorderly conduct and carrying a concealed weapon. The former titan of Saved by the Bell's visual poetry narrowly avoided a felony charge, arguing that his actions were simply an effort to defend his then-fiancée.

"I sincerely apologize to everyone involved," Diamond said during his sentencing in January, according toUs Weekly. "This was the single most terrifying experience of my life. This is all I've been able to think about for the last six months." With this incident now behind him, Diamond can return to his life as a totally regular guy.

Aside from this unfortunate stabbing incident, how exactly has the post-Bell existence fared for the Artist Formerly Known as Screech? Thus far, we've all been treated to everything from a very meta sex tape to a poorly received tell-all book centered on his Saved by the Bell years. The rest of the cast, of course, didn't exactly co-sign Diamond's literature. "I don't remember those things," Mark-Paul GosselaartoldHuffPost Live in 2014. "My experience on the show was very positive."
