Sharissa Turk, perhaps most known for her appearance as "Blue Fairy" in the 2012 viral YouTube hit "My World Is Blue," has died at the age of 25. Turk was found unresponsive by her boyfriend on Tuesday afternoon in her Staten Island home, the New York Daily News reports. Though an investigation is ongoing, local authorities are currently treating it as a possible overdose.

According to Turk's landlord, Turk had only lived in the residence for a few weeks and "looked good" the last time he spoke with her. However, as noted by the Daily News, Turk's sudden death is made even more tragic when considering the fact that she was allegedly eight months pregnant. According to a Facebook post quoted by the Daily Mail, she was expecting a girl.

In August of last year, another star of the "My World Is Blue" viral hit died of an alleged drug overdose. Gerard Kelly, just 32 years old, died suddenly of what medical officials describe as "probable acute drug intoxication." The official cause of death for Turk remains under investigation.

As previously reported, Turk was arrested in 2013 following an extensive drug sting by local officials. Turk was then charged with attempting to sell Oxycodone to an undercover officer, with the operation ultimately inspiring more than 30 arrests and the seizure of multiple guns and thousands of dollars in cash. The YouTube star then entered a rehab program which she successfully completed, prompting a vacated plea in 2014.

Rest in peace, Sharissa.
