Whoopi Goldberg is the latest celebrity to get down with the marijuana business. Last we heard The Hunger Games and True Detective star Woody Harrelson was trying to get into the medical marijuana business. As for Tommy Chong, this year he launched a cannabis line. Goldberg, a well-known marijuana supporter, is launching a medical marijuana company.

Named after Goldberg and edibles maker Maya Elisabeth the company is Whoopi & Maya. Per a press release the companies products include CBD or THC infused raw sipping chocolate, a THC-infused tincture, a THC-infused bath soak, and a pain-relief rub. It will reportedly be available as of April 2016.

The company and products are aimed at women and alleviating menstrual cramps. Goldberg is quoted in a press release saying,  "I am thrilled to partner with the amazing Maya Elisabeth to provide women an alternative for relieving the pain and discomfort associated with menstruation. This was all inspired by my own experience from a lifetime of difficult periods and the fact that cannabis was literally the only thing that gave me relief."

Goldberg's company launches as the U.S. becomes friendlier to the idea of legalizing marijuana in states besides Washington and Colorado where it's already legal.

A recent study showed marijuana does not cause depression and anxiety, but it does help when it comes to getting a better sleep.

Next for Goldberg is co-starring with Charlie Sheen in a 9/11 movie
