Marvel Studios finally confirmed that Kurt Russell will definitely play Star Lord Chris Pratt's chill dad in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (a rumor that started making rounds back in December), but now it looks like the film might've added yet another all-star to its already stacked roster. According to New York Daily News, Sylvester Stallone was photographed leaving the Atlanta hotel where the cast usually stays and holding what looks to be a script, which presumably contains his lines in the upcoming film. Upon leaving the hotel, Stallone "got into a car usually assigned to Chris Pratt" and drove off.

Disney has yet to confirm or deny Stallone's part in the film, and he's not listed on the movie's IMDb page. If he were to join the cast, Stallone would be in good company: Pratt, Russell, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Zoe Saldana, and Glenn Close will all appear in this second Guardians of the Galaxy installment. What's more, it would make sense for Stallone to appear in the film, which director James Gunnhas said is "all about families and fathers." After watching Creed, it's safe to say nobody plays a stern-yet-loving father figure better than Stallone does.

Stallone, was just nominated for an Academy Award for his supporting role in Creed, and although he's known for playing a guy with super-human strength and talent, he's never played an actual superhero. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is set to premiere May 5, 2017.
