Seth Rogen’s meat-themed animated instaclassic Sausage Party now has an R-rated trailer to go with all those R-rated promises. The film, which is essentially a spoof of the entire Pixar format, brings Rogen together with Jonah Hill, Kristen Wiig, James Franco, and most of the usual crew for an adult-y take on talking food.

Though it doesn't officially open until August, Sausage Party did land the esteemed SXSW treatment with its rough cut premiere earlier this week. For those not lucky enough to have experienced the rough Sausage cut in Austin, Collider has the synopsis on deck for some proper hype building:

The film tells the story of one sausage setting out on a quest to discover the truth about his existence. After falling out of a shopping cart, our hero sausage and his new friends embark on a perilous journey through the supermarket to get back to their aisles before the Fourth of July sale.

What a time to be Seth Rogen, right? In addition to crafting the Sausage Party epic alongside Evan Goldberg, Rogen’s highly anticipated Preacher series for AMC just landed a premiere date. Preacher, an adaptation of Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon’s Vertigo classic, was also developed alongside Goldberg.

Join this (presumably filthy) party of sausages on Aug. 12.
