Fast food is dope. Anime is dope. So surely bringing the two of them together is going to be a good thing right? Well here it is – McDonald’s very own anime. Actually it’s just a short recruitment film, designed to help convince Japanese teens that hey should get a part time job at McD’s. In the west we just get cheaply made training videos, but the Japanese get this full-on shojo anime tale. In just 79 seconds we run the whole gamut of anime clichés, as the new girl makes a fool of her self, makes new friends, struggles to be the very best like no one ever was, and eventually achieves her destiny of becoming a Pokemon master McDonald’s employee.
