Daylight Savings Time made us turn our clocks forward this weekend, but it looks like we're heading back in time: Sammi Sweetheart and Ronnie are back together. Samantha Giancola and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, starred in MTV's Jersey Shore. Soon enough the two started dating, became inseparable, and there began one of the most drawn out relationship sagas in reality TV history. The Jersey Shore couple, who called it quits for good in 2014, are back on. Fellow Jersey Shore alum Pauly D also recently found love, dating former Danity Kane member Aubrey O'Day.
After the split, Ronnie, famous for his "Never fall in love at the Jersey Shore," rule to live by said the two just grew apart.
On Monday E! News reported Sammi and Ronnie were an item once again. The rumors started swirling after Sammi posted a photo of her and friends on Instagram of her 29th birthday celebration at Bounce Sporting Club in New York City. Cozied up next to her? Ronnie himself.
E! News says Sammi's rep had no comment about the maybe, maybe not couple but a source told E! News they're back together. "They are seeing each other again, [but] taking it slower this time around," another source toldE! News. "They were just in Mexico together as well. They have a lot of history."
That history largely unfolded in front of cameras during the couple's on-and-off relationship of five years. Things were rocky (to say the least) with the couple's constant fighting, which usually ended up in Sam saying "I'm done" and them breaking up, over Ron's straying ways and more.
Looks like the two aren't done just yet.
