Nickelodeon Commissioned a Really Cool Photoshoot of 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' Toys in NYC

TMNT

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are quintessentially New York characters. All the way back to the original black and white comics, they’ve always been at home in the sewers of Manhattan.

Nickelodeon recently celebrated the Turtles’ NYC heritage by commissioning photographer Brian McCarty to do a shoot of TMNT toys all over the five boroughs. From Time Square to Greenpoint to Williamsburg, the photos have the Turtles jumping out of their iconic blimp, interacting with real-life rats (maybe it was Pizza Rat?) and even breakdancing outside a Brooklyn pizzeria.
