Joey from 'Friends' is replacing Clarkson.

This is kind of random news. When Jeremy Clarkson and his boys were fired/ left Top Gear, there was a big high profile search for the new hosts. Chris Evans was picked as one, which makes sense, right, because he’s a guy in his early-50s guy who loves car. But his co-host? It’s gonna be Joey from Friends.

Yeah, Matt LeBlanc is going to be joining the BBC show when it comes back. We really weren’t expecting a big name US sitcom actor to be taking the gig, but he does have some form for it, having previously starred in the BBC comedy Episodes.

"As a car nut and a massive fan of Top Gear, I'm honoured and excited to be a part of this iconic show's new chapter. What a thrill!"" said Joey, er, we mean LeBlanc in a statement.
