The dawn of a new darker, creepier, and action-filled season of HBO's Game of Thrones is on the horizon. In preparation for the April 26 premiere, the cable network leaked a promo video that leaves more questions than answers.

The most extensive peek into Season 6 shows the faces of several dead characters, like Ned Stark and Joffrey Baratheon, inside the familiar House of Black and White. They're reflecting on their deaths as well as the war they're fighting. What's odd is the inclusion of Jon Snow in the promo. Is he dead? That's the big question lingering over the series as Season 6 ended with a big cliffhanger.

Snow was stabbed and left to die, but it's still unclear if he's dead. HBO is playing coyly with this angle, including Snow in promo posters, but also including him in this video with dead characters.

Kit Harrington, the actor who plays Snow, upped the ante in an interview with Belgian Magazine Hugo. When asked how long he'll be on Game of Thrones, Harrington said, "I can't talk about that. Let’s just say that Game of Thrones will remain a part of my life for a while, I'll probably be in my 30s when it’s over. One thing's for sure: the day I’m no longer on Thrones is the day I’ll bury myself in movie projects [laughs]."

So again, audiences are left with more questions than answers. This is the first time audiences don't know what's going to happen next. The sixth installment of the book series hasn't been released, so there can be no spoilers from the book.
