Taryn Manning, most known for her roles in Orange is the New Black and 8 Mile, is again at the center of a brewing legal dispute with her makeup artist. Holly Hartman reportedly filed a restraining order against Manning following "several alleged brawls," according to TMZ. Hartman alleges that Manning told her she would become "famous for killing Taryn Manning" and assaulted her by spraying Windex in her eyes and "headbutting her in the face," before telling Hartman to stab her to death.

According to documents obtained by TMZ on Thursday, the most recent fight went down at Manning's apartment in New York City. However, Hartman filed her restraining order request in Los Angeles. The restraining order, due in some part to the location of Hartman's filing, has been denied by a judge. Though Manning and Hartman have reportedly been friends for years, this doesn't mark their first batch of legal trouble. Back in 2012, Manning was detained over similar assault allegations, though all charges were ultimately dropped.

On Thursday, Manning's lawyers reached out to TMZ to reveal why they felt Hartman's requested restraining order was "suspect." According to Manning's team, the two haven't seen each other in several months. Manning's team also alleges that Hartman is trying to distract from the fact that she is actually the one under investigation for stalking Manning and other crimes, adding that Manning is currently planning to press charges.

"These investigations have long predated these entirely fabricated allegations," Manning's lawyers confirms to Us Weekly. "Ms. Hartman is under investigation for stalking Ms. Manning and for theft and other crimes. It is clear that Ms. Hartman's camp has leaked these allegations which were not available publicly to elevate her own position and obscure her own wrongdoing."
