The critically acclaimed movie that is the life of one Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman has now reached its presumed conclusion, with the infamous drug lord captured once again during a violent shootout with Mexican Marines. As everyone waits around to see if El Chapo will simply escape from a maximum security prison for the third time, the rumblings surrounding the inevitable El Chapo biopic have reached a proper fever pitch.

Of course, as in all instances of global importance, we must turn to Stephen Colbert for the definitive take. After racing through a very Colbert summary of the life and times of El Chapo, the former presidential candidate briefly offers this image for everyone to presumably print out and hang above their beds:

Lovely.

However, Colbert really saves his energy for the debut of his meticulously acted El Chapo biopic audition tape. Given the Oscar-level method acting present in this audition, someone should probably start texting directors and writers right this very moment because this biopic obviously has its lead.

Thank you once again for your service, Stephen Colbert.
