We’ve all been there. You’re out on the town, having some drinks, some laughs—then, the next thing you know, you’re getting busted for soliciting sex from two uniformed police officers while on horseback. Not your finest hour, but what’s the worst that can happen?

Um. How about house arrest?

Uh-oh.

In Comedy Central’s hilarious new series, hard-partying, troublemaker rich girl Gene (Jillian Bell) finds herself in just this predicament. And while Gene never saw this coming, imagine the confusion that bright-but-broke Harvard grad Billie feels when she applies for a nannying job, only to find out that she’s really applying to be the tutor, supervisor, and all-around caretaker for a fully grown, semi-criminal female? Excuse me? That description was definitely not in the ad.

While Billie understandably wants to head for the hills, Gene’s eccentric—or maybe downright crazy—daddy (Stephen Root) has the one thing she desperately needs: mad money. So, with little choice in the matter of if she actually wants to continue living indoors, Billie signs on to be Gene’s full-time Idiotsitter—and quickly finds out just what sort of insanity she’s in for. In the end, Gene and Billie might actually prove the old adage that opposites attract. Or maybe the one that opposites ultimately destroy each other? Guess we’ll find out!

Idiotsitter debuts Jan. 14 at 10:30/9:30c after Workaholics on Comedy Central and on the Comedy Central App—but you can watch the first episode right now on ComedyCentral.com
