If you loved Nickelodeon in the '90s as much as one fellow named Kel loved orange soda then you're going to love the orange splat network even more. Nickelodeon, highly aware of millennial nostalgia and the success of crossover movies (See: Every comic book movie in recent memory) has decided to make a NickToons movie rounding up all of your faves

The idea for the mega mash-up movie floated around in September, but now it's all happening. Nickelodeon has done crossover movies with its properties before, for example when it brought together boy genius Jimmy Neutron (Who I miss dearly) and Timmy Turner of the Fairly OddParents for the Jimmy Timmy Power Hour TV movie trilogy.

Deadline exclusively reports the movie, just titled NickToons, will be directed by Jared Hess (Napoleon Dynamite). Nickelodeon's stacked arsenal will be called upon for the movie with characters from shows including Rocko's Modern Life, Aaahh! Real Monsters, Rugrats, The Angry Beavers, and Ren & Stimpy. It's easy to see Rocko's Modern Life and Ren & Stimpy—the more mature shows in the Nickelodeon roster, with sexual innuendos and other adult humor—existing within the same universe in a movie, but bringing in Rugrats (which has already successfully performed in movies)? That's going to be a sight to see.

What other Nickelodeon shows are you hoping to see in NickToons?
